VP and General Manager TPG

Lex Watson joined Point Blank Enterprises (PBE) in 2012 and since that time has advanced through a variety of positions within the company.  With successful implementation of business strategies in both the Commercial Hard Armor business unit and International Sales, Lex transitioned to Military Program Management leading to his most recent promotion to VP and General Manager of The Protective Group (TPG). In this role, Lex has assumed governance over a leading provider of an agile systems integrator and an industry leader in development of survivability solutions for personnel, ground vehicles, shipboard systems and aviation platforms. In his management of TPG operations, Lex has expanded the customer base and ensured timely delivery of products and solutions that meet and exceed expectations for our U.S. Military, U.S. Law Enforcement, and Commercial Customers.

 

Lex brings a wide range of experience to his responsibilities within Point Blank from previous service within the industry.  Prior to his affiliation with PBE, Lex was the Global Sales Manager at TechFiber, a major producer of Unidirectional ballistic fiber and a division of ArmorWorks. In this function, he managed the implementation of a Unidirectional line and was responsible for a 200% increase in company revenue.  Lex has also worked for DuPont Advanced Fibers, holding roles in Financial Analysis and Account Management.

 

Lex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics from Virginia Tech and is a member of the Army Aviation Association of America.
