Tom Steffen is the Senior Vice President of Government Programs at Point Blank Enterprises, Inc.  In his current role, he is responsible for the strategic development and management of Point Blank’s government business.

 

Previously, Tom served as Chief Financial Officer of Point Blank from November 2011 through April 2013 and its affiliate Protective Products Enterprises from July 2010 until April 2013. Tom was intimately involved in the acquisition of PARACLETE, Point Blank and PACA in the fall of 2011 and the subsequent integration of the four businesses into one. As the Chief Operating Officer of Protective Products, Tom led topline operational growth from $30 million in 2010 to securing over $110 million in 2011.

 

Prior to joining Protective Products, Tom held a variety of senior management roles including Vice President of Finance at QEP, based in Boca Raton, Florida.  Prior to this position, he was a Partner at Tatum Partners in Tampa, Florida.  Before he joined Tatum, he was the Global Controller and CFO of Jacuzzi Brands Corp, headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida and Los Angeles, California.  He also served as CFO of Port Townsend Paper, Inc., in Seattle, Washington and previously served as the Treasurer of Gaylord Container Corporation, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois.  Throughout his career, he has raised in excess of $2 billion of capital for businesses and has been actively involved in mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of businesses, well in excess of $3 billion.

 

Tom started his business career at Deloitte as an auditor, prior to graduating into taxation and business consulting.

 

He holds a Masters in Accounting from the University of Iowa, and a Bachelor in Sciences from the University of Iowa.  He is a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive).
